Happy Boop Planter

This whimsical planter features a happy carved face and a sculpted "boop" nose! There is a drainage hole in the base.

If you are buying a new plant I used a 2 inch potted plant for the photo. (plant not included with purchase)

Each planter is first thrown on a potter's wheel. I then sketch my design before I carve into the clay. It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I fill in the carvings with a black glaze(or white) to highlight the detail. I then use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6. Each piece I make is an original ,no two are exactly the same!
